The department is equipped with modern automated analyzers, which have an extremely rigorous internal Quality Control System. Alongside the internal Quality Control System, there is a constant involvement in EQA Program of College of American Pathologists (CAP Proficiency Testing) to study blood Coagulation as well as EQAS (External Quality Assurance Service BIORAD America) to evaluate the CP of blood. The department of Hematology is the one that offers these tests.
Routine Hematology:
Routine Hematology includes Blood full image (CP/CBC) along with peripheral smear tests, ESR, ICT MP, Peripheral smear test for detecting Malaria parasites. Coombs’ Test, G6PD Enzyme Assay assay Body Fluids Analysis as well as urine Test to determine Hemosiderin. The outcome that are not a normal results are reviewed by senior Hematologists and a close watch is maintained on the reliability of the payoff and its clinical connection. If essential, the test’s payoff is reviewed at no cost and, if needed, together various instruments.
